《Perfect World Prequel - The Legend of Mermaid》is a free for life large-scale 3D fantasy online game which is created for the worldwide players. It is the third new version introduced by 《Perfect World》 series after 《Perfect World》（Time Version）and 《Perfect World International》!

《Perfect World Prequel - The Legend of Mermaid》starts with the story of the return of Nightide, bringing Underwater Treasure Hunt, Military 3D battle and many more interesting game to the players. The Underwater is a world that human could never fully understand and grasp over. However, the Nightide have completed the whole process from surviving to experiencing in the mysterious environtment of underwater, and that has added more fantastic colors over the two professions of Nightide. 　

The Nightide have learned some great skill to subdue the enemy in ocean. They are the lords of Mermaids, and also the important members to change Perfect World together with other races on the land. The Nightide may look fierce but there're always elegant under the ocean. They are born with Mermaids unique transformation ability, and also the incomparable surviving and battle skills! Immerse in Water - Unique Transformation of Mermaid Forms

The Nightide possess the ability to fight on land same as other races. The only difference is that when the Nightide, lord of the ocean, immerse into the ocean, they would transformed to become Mermaids, which is a great advantage for them to be never defeated in a battle under the ocean.

Pretty Posture - Mermaids became Scenery of the Ocean

The Nightide have become the wonder of Perfect World due to their unique transformation ability. When the Nightide immerse into the sea, they would transform to become Mermaids. When half of their body immersed in the sea, showing the head and torso while immersing the fish tail in the water. The tails of them that are full of scales would move like a fish tail, allowing them to stand upright in the water and giving wavelets. People just can't help it but to stare at the beautiful scene.

Movements of the Nihgtides in the ocean are very elegant. Especially the Golden body of the Nihgtide Rogue particularly stands out in the ocean. They way they swim in the ocean is like a fairy with golden armor getting closer to you! The blue body of Sorcerer and blended into one with the ocean. You wouldn't realise how good looking the sorcerer is under the navy light if you never look properly!

Survival of Sea and Land - Military 3D Battle

Under the sea, Nightide appear as the unique Mermaids, using their special skills with thousand years of experience to be unbeatable in battles; while on the land, the battle strength of Nightide is not any weaker than other races. As the "Assassin by nature" -- Rogue and "Unordinary Controller" -- Sorcerer, these two profession of Nightide use the advantages of sea battle and experience od land battle to compete with opponent, from the sea to land and even in the air! This mysterious race started the suspense which caused players to be looking forward to what might come next!

The main city of Nightide, City of Thalassa, is like a magical castle. Look down to the city and it is a colorful mirage world. Enter the city and you’ll be stepping on the ocean blue floor. Though you’re walking on the ground, you’d feel like swimming in the sea, it’s such a delicate feeling.

The buildings within the city are mostly based on ocean elements. A bench with fish shape, pattern of waves, decoration with fins shape, floors with shell shape…… All of these have fused with the theme of Nightide survival, showing a beautiful and magical scene of sea and Land!

In the magical scenery, Nightide have not forgotten to fuse their will into it. There are 2 statues that represent their indomitable spirits.  On top of the buildings, there is this upside down triangle shape like a dagger, as if people of the race are holding sharp weapons, representing their strong heart and will.
